When To Go
So much of when to go depends on what you would like to see and do when you are there. There is never really a bad time to visit the Kenya as itineraries can be arranged to meet the time of year. If you wish to experience the annual Wildebeest Migration, you will want to go mid-August until the later part of October. The busy season in Kenya is during the dry season, which runs from June through October, and when we say plan early, we strongly urge you to do so.
Don’t count out the wet season! There are still amazing places for viewing the wildlife, and this is the time of year when you will have the opportunity to see newborn animals and migratory birds. With the exception of March, April and May, the rains are usually very short and might even be a welcome reprieve. If you are planning to visit the coast for any diving and snorkeling in the amazing waters of the Indian Ocean, then October through January are best and especially December for optimal visibility. No worries, whatever you have on your bucket list, we can help ensure you are there at the right time.
